This section/thread is mostly going to be dedicated to the products I make and 95% of it will be updates on developments so it is all logged in 1 spot vs spread out. I am hoping it keeps it cleaner and stops over posting on the actual freelancer (sale section) because these are just development posts until they go live. At least here it gives me a chance to discuss prices and details not allowed in a normal post.

A range of 1G, 2G, and even Evo will be listed here because we have a big group of Evo owners its only fair to share here also as some products will cross over.

More then welcome to comment. Ask questions to any specific post and I will do my best to keep up with them all.

Some of you will remember I was working on some replacement DSM/EVO tensioner arms a while back! This was due to a few reasons which I will list below

You must be logged in to view this image or video.
Discontinued! The BIGGEST issue is they are gone. 6 Bolts have been gone longer and 7 Bolts are just about there now.

wear... Both the shaft self-lube bearing sleeve and hydraulic tensioner pin all wear the tensioner and as we know a wobbling tensioner from the bush means your timing belt is going to walk and cause issues!

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

When I started this development the goal was to make sure the engines could be rebuild using much higher quality parts for years to come with ZERO worries of not being able to get a good one. EVERY ENGINE needs one as it's critical to the build.

HOWEVER, I have features designed into them which are quite special and are listed below.

Stonger material. These will be machined from Billet 4340 Chromoly / EN24T alloy steel! Super strong and high-wearing

You must be logged in to view this image or video.
Bronze bush will be replaceable! This means should you EVER need replacements or spares then it is as simple as changing the bushes over to new ones keeping the unit in service for a lot longer.

You must be logged in to view this image or video.
Hydro Tensioner pin mating point will be heat treated and surface hardened for a longer service life

You must be logged in to view this image or video.
I will have 3, YES THREE Versions! This is to account for the 6 Bolt-7 Bolt hybrid to make the swap just that much easier for you all!

You must be logged in to view this image or video.
Revised design. I have various design changes incorporated from a recessed back to help remove some weight, pin surface areas wider to make sure its more central vs near the edge which is weaker and a problem.

* 7 Bolt is designed for both DSM / EVO engines
* 6 Bolt is for any 6 Bolt engine
* 6 Bolt in a 2G was designed to work with the 7 Bolt mounting bracket (no drilling of the bracket for the tensioner threaded rod required anymore) just the normal reduced height bolt for the water pump is required.

The last part is to go through the final surface treatment meeting to discuss what is needed and required, Then I will look into running a group buy on these in the 3 options offered but that detail will come out later with prices etc, IF you ARE interested currently make yourself known so I can come back to this post later on also as a guide.

Thank you for reading and as always YOUR SUPPORT! Without you all I would not be able to make these awesome products and keep more DSMers on the roads moving.

ANOTHER FIBA Motorsport first and the innovation always starts here. ALWAYS...

LOL will still be a market for the used sector so do not fear Marty haha used parts are still a gold mine out there thankfully more then ever these days.

I always try to have a spin on the design and adjust things I see, small tweeks sometimes but worth it. Always happy to be developing for our platform. together we will do great things as a community collective

Hell Yea Brother!!!! :thumb:

Another update! more to come to don't forget to come back and check them out

This one is about the Tubular Front subframes for the 2G DSM. I initially designed the customer version with a deeper brace due to feedback from exhaust systems being used so I could over them all space wise.

I personally run a flat brace as my DP is tucked up by the pan and it seems many others are also tucked up! upon request I have now made the flat braces possible for you all. NOTHING changes for the other mountings so you can swap over to flat and use the same parts as previously used trouble free!

please NOTE that this DOES lose you space between but it also now gains you extra ground clearance! so be sure your DP is tucked up or be repaired to modify the DP to suit the new space! please see the LAST 3 pictures of my DP and space. others have had theirs tucked higher then mine but gives you a general idea to go by

Last nights post is an awesome one for the 2G chassis!

I am still working on an arm but its not done yet. So i worked on a replacement bush for the oem arms which will rid the rubber in favor for a new alloy housing snd spherical bush!

When you remove this bush it will now give you ultimate feedback and control since you wont lose any caster under braking or cornering. You will get everything you put in and will be super precise for you. The last thing we want is a corner coming up and all your valuable caster is adjusted while braking then in the corner its also reduced as the arm gets pushed backwards! The smallest decrease can cause tire slip and not offer the best grip possible for the chassis.

These are fully rebuildable units, sphericals, poly bushes are all replaceable meaning over the years you wont need to worry about replacements.

Poly bushes are custom designed for this kit and will be manufactured by a polybush company I am working with, tooling is required for this specific bush as nothing off the shelf is going to work.

Shafts are super strong 4340 / EN24T chromoly for superior strength and slot right into the spherical bearing.

The housing is alloy for light weight construction and comes anodized to offer corrosion protection and nice sleek look

Not currently ready yet to be released as im just doing the final discussions on the tooling for the polybushes and once confirmed then i will be able to proceed.

I will also be offering removal and install tools to help remove old bushes and install the new housing much easier. No need to burn, cut or damage the arm as a press tool will make light work of this with pressing the old one out! Best used on a flypress or hydraulic press where you have plenty of height.

That subframe is a work of art, Bobby.

Keep up the good work!
Thank you. I do admit i love the design and structure. It came together nicely with alot of function and looks just came natural. I want to hang one on the wall 😂

Not updated this post in a while so im sorry for that!

Been working on more items though (no surprise there then)

Apart from the mass amount of items now for the 1G done and for sale (see freelancer section) i now have just completed some more reproduction bits. Since these have been discontinued for some time I wanted to start to reproduce these to a high quality with good quality coilpacks ALL of which are brand new units!!!

Currently just finished confirming fitment of the discontinued 2G 4G63 coilpack brackets and will be offered as a full bolt on kit or bracket alone!

Kit versions are...

*1 is bracket only
*2 is bracket and coilpacks (swap your wiring over + save some funds on new wiring)
*3 comes as a complete plug and play with new wire/connector and im teaming up with another DSM member for the wiring side of things.

Bracket will be stainless of course + stainless hardware,
fully laser etched with stock details and plug numbers!

All laser cut and CNC precision bent. My sample is good and fits great! All holes line up perfectly.

1G version is being done next!!!!! 🥳

Rear backing shields AWD and FWD being worked on! This will be to get rid of the corroding units as we are getting very limited supplies of used good ones now so eventually will be nothing left to remotely restore! I was lucky to find a set with a few saveable holes in from the AWD rear knuckles and they now look decent but not everyone will get lucky on these and now is a critical point as once the pin wears through then no hand brake shoes!!! NOT ideal i tell you that.

These will have a bolt on caliper bracket for the DSM versions of course. EVO version is shown here

Mock up?
Fixed tension?
Yes and no. Will be billet and still hydraulic inside

I gotta ask, won't this be a hard sell since there are still commercially available options?

The 6 bolt oem ones are discontinued now I think right?

OEM ones are still available on stmtuned along with Gates.
They are yes. I have them all being done. How ever with a twist!

I honestly don't expect the OEM one to stay in production for much longer. The 1G 7 bolt ones are unobtanium. The 1G 6 bolts I bet are next.

Do it. Dew it.
Thats a silly cross over one due to the pump change and covers but they can use the later 7 bolts without problems it seems. But i will be able to cover all engines eventually with these

WITHOUT further ado

Welcome to the FUTURE of 2G DSM progression in pursuit of Billet goodness and suspension parts like no other!

Sorry for the most recent hiding but I have been working hard to get life packed up and moving. It's been tough and tricky but plodding onwards slowly.
Here are some of the basic details for these items so you have a good understanding of them more.
You must be logged in to view this image or video.

FLCA.

These will feature double adjustable shafts for on chassis adjustments. it adds a smidge of weight but make the front a lot easier for adjustments, (lower arms are STILL a secondary adjustment option! primary should always be the upper arm still.
Since these are billet they will be lightweight and super strong and the added air passes mean they will allow air to pass through to help with a bit of drag.
Fully rebuildable with new sphericals and these shafts keep the stock roll centers for the lower arm. The reason for this is once you adjust the LCA roll center you effectively speed up the reaction in the front, and while this can be great for quick changes what you get is a lot slower reacting rear end which can no longer keep up with the front unless you have a wider range of rear roll center adjustments. The rear is already slower to react so making the front faster is going to be tough to get the rear to catch up. FOR this reason I am leaving the front as stock because its far easier to work with for the rest of the chassis tuning.
As always Shafts will be Chromoly EN24T which is very very strong and is my common high alloy steel which performs well.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------

RLCA.

This one is a very BIG design change and difference from a normal arm. I went through MANY design changes on this one and ended up here for a few reasons.
one of which is its now able to work with those using the Galant or 3G tube rear arms as the drop link is very different vs a 2G. so the drop link is now a very wide ranged part of the product meaning it moves a lot more for freedom and can go either side to accommodate the different 2G/3G/Galant ARB's. Also will work with the Evo bars I also have adaptor brackets for!

The other advantage of this setup is ARB rates! normally the bars have holes in them but almost ALL the 2G bars do not offer this so MY product has this built in for you! meaning you will be able to have slight adjustment in the ARB rate depending on LCA hole location! This does NOT work the same as the ARB holes though!
They are tuned differently vs the arm. so the LCA arm the central hole is neutral and in bore is adding a bit of softness. the further out you go the stiffer the bar becomes and this is because the bars effect is greater the further out it connects vs going inside. (bars that mount very inside require a much thicker bar to have the same effect as a smaller bar that’s wider mounted) so this will allow you to add something never been possible on 2G style ARB's before!
These are height adjustable drop links and keep the central loading over the arm as much as possible.
the RLCA is NOT double adjustable to save some weight on this are due to the drop link design.
The mounting side for the knuckle has also been increased in stiffness and strength because we are seeing more and more racers with higher cornering forces now and every bit of extra strength will be needed to support these bigger loads! so while its light its also very strong and I’m covering circuit racing as those will see the highest forces along side AutoX. so everyone else will be very covered for drag or road use.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------

I do not have any dates for these yet as I know I get asked

But I would like to look sometime in 2026 for them to be released.

I promised future development posts and products that are innovating as you know I love to think differently and cover as many aspects into the designs as possible and these are no exception!

OH and before I forget... The 2G Rear trailing arm will also be getting done in billet to! Nothing fancy on that though as it has a job and it does it well. you will get a light weight arm and single adjustment to match the same quality as the rest of the arms. Its simplistic in design and function.

THANK you all for reading and hope These get your hearts racing for some AMAZING new developments to look forward to!

Happy to answer any questions you may have on any part of these items so please do ask

My number is 9257919991 I have a lot of questions. That’s why I would rather you call me or text me but pretty much what I have right now is DC sports rear strut Megan racing lower tie bar, Megan, racing trailer, arms, toe arms, and camera arms Megan racing coil overs energy suspension bushings i’m getting a three point custom front rebar. I know you make a lot of suspension parts. I just wanted to see if you could do a package deal for a bunch of suspension parts that I need including the ones that you made and also I know you made them in red. Can you make them in billet or polished color?
