alright guys, I have a 92 tsi awd, 6 bolt with a stock 14b I just bought it less than 6 months ago w/ a broken timing belt bent valves and all that good stuff. A buddy of mine that owns a junkyard bought it as is and had it sitting out there for about 6 years. I bought it and he gave me a clean head for it so that I could put it all back together. I ended up replacing the waterpump, alternator, timing belt, balance shaft belt, and all of the tensioners/idlers. I got screwed over on the turbo that i ordered off of here and just now go the money back but anyways, my turbo has some cracks in the exhaust housing. I was wondering what oppinions you guys had on upgrading the turbo/exhaust system while keeping it semi-stock but making it run a bit faster.

Another thing I was wondering was how much you guys like your AWD's in the winter. We just got some snow here around thanksgiving and i was having fun pulling people out of ditches that thought their 4x4 trucks were to good for 3 inches of snow and than later driving by laughing because i was stickin to the road...

Thanks,
Brett

Id just go with a small 16g or Evo III 16g and a good exhaust like the apexi N1. 16g's are basically the next step up from a 14b. You can also get a boost controller and run about 15psi without having to upgrade your fuel system. Also might want to think about getting an aftermarkert intake pipe and ditch the stock air box and go with an open K&N air filter if you havent already to increase spool-up. You can search through the classifieds here, or just check out the parts catalog for all these parts.

And dont forget the free mods per www.vfaq.com

What's a good price to pay for a 16g? This place in Toledo Ohio called showdown motorsports has a 16g I'm not sure if it's the evoIII or the small 16g but it's brand new and polished for 575$ I wasn't sure if that was a good deal or not but i need a cheaper 16g than 575 so if any of you guys have one maybe tax time I'll be able to pick that and a header and a downpipe up or something.

Thanks,
Brett
