Could this be the issue?

This is the ground wire (I think) that runs to the negative terminal on the battery. Is it normal to have random wires hanging out like that?

No, the cable is frayed and causes a voltage drop there. Replace it.

deffinatly fix that its normal for it to happen over time but it should be redone

Alright how do I replace it and with what?

Guys I finally realized that my car runs very good most of the time but sometimes when my headlights are on the car is very non-responsive and drives like shit. Ideas?

Sounds electrical - either too much voltage drop over that frayed connection or bad alt. Check battery voltage with engine running and headlights on.

One of my lines looks like this too. How do you fix this? Can you put solder on it wrap it in electrical?

Replace the large battery cable. For other frayed wires cut the frayed portion out and solder in another wire of the same or larger diameter (gauge) to replace the frayed section. Tape with electrical tape. [Or if you want to do it the better and proper way is to cut frayed portion out and slide heat shrink tubing onto it. Then put in new wire piece, solder, slide tubing over solder connections, and heat with hair dryer to shrink it on nice and tight (which keeps joint protected from moisture).]

If frayed at end of wire at a terminal, just cut wire and solder on a new terminal.

Replace that wire, like other have said. Thats 2 or 3 dollar wire from autozone. Take your car there have them match up wire size. This should fix your problems. Also, is your starter shimmed to the transmission. I know for 420a theres a washer[shimmey] thats bolts to the transmission on the negative cable that connects to the starter. i had a problem with my 2gnt same situation. Always needed a jump etc. Then i notice the missing washer and my negative cable was corroded.There can also be one for the 4g63 cars

another good thing it to get a good ground connection once you have fixed the wire itself sand down around where the bolt goes in and where metal will make contact to bare metal youll get a more accurate ground this way

Alright well the ground wire is fixed and still having the issue only when the lights are on :/
