So, i got my 97 GST. I got a FMIC kit from DSM Graveyard that said it would fit for 2g eclipses. It didnt, so we put all the parts back together (all stock). And when i got halfway home my car jumped, i thought it was tires but it wasnt. So then the car wouldnt go past 2k RPMs and i had almost full boost. When i got back home i tightened up all the clamps again and the same thing was happening. But now in park i had half boost. And occasionally itll drop towards 0 RPMs and sputter and oil light would come on.
All the fluids are fine in the car and idk whats wrong.

In park half boost

Did it like do a slam dunk or what?

Did you forget to plug n your maf?

I think it worked well if you installed a "fail" and had problems :p

Anytime you work with the charge pipes you want to perform a boost leak test which you apparently did not do. How did the FMIC not fit as most kits require cutting if you didnt know that.

If your oil level is full check the voltage of the battery and the alternator.

Well the way it wouldnt fit is because my turbo pipe faces passenger side along with the turbine part. And there was a bracket in the way so the pipe wouldnt fit in.

You would need to modify the pipe to fit for the t25. Which bracket are you referring to?

The bracket is a couple inches below the turbo inlet and it has like a circle thingy (LOL) in it. It looks like it connects to the chassis by the radiator

The FMIC would be better for you when you upgrade properly to a larger turbo that can fill the extra volume and would benefit from the larger cooling capacity from the FMIC where as the SMIC would heat soak.
