Im taking apart my ignition switch and I noticed there is a wire that seems to do nothing. So far heres what the wires do/behave

Black (hot +12v at all times)
Black yellow (starter when 12v is applied)
black White (ignition fuel pump etc...)
Blue red (Heater/fan/blower/air accessories)
blue (radio+ similar accessories)
BLACK+RED stripe (or orange stripe, my eyes are funny) <<< whats this do?I tested it for having ground or positive polarity, nothing. I jumped +12v and ground to it (seperately LOL) and nothing happenned... What could it be? Im installing a remote stat and I dont want to leave it out but it appears that it does absolutely nothing.

Remember this is a 1992 5speed. awd, no sunroof. no alarm.

UPDATE:

As far as im concerned it does jack sh!t. I tested it with an ohm meter, test light. Ignition on, acc on, starter on.... All the normal functions have thier own wire. the black with red stripe does nothing.

Pin 1 NC
Pin 2 Blue/Black IG2
Pin 3 Blue Accessory
Pin 4 Black/White IG1
Pin 5 Black/Yellow Starter
Pin 6 White Power

The FSM says that pin 1 is active in the start position but is shown as not connected.

ACC pins 6 and 3 connected
ON pins 6, 3, 4, and 2 connected
START pins 6, 4, 5, and 1 connected

So the difference between IG1 and IG2 is that IG1 gets power in ON and START and IG2 gets power in the ON position but not START.
