I'm removing my ignition switch, for 2 reasons. One I need to delete the steering wheel lock and secondly, I'm thinking about moving the ignition switch to the custom made center panel, I'm making and putting a push button start in. This is going to be a track car (No flaming for doing this on a DD, thanks
)
Anyway, the question I have is There's a small plastic plunger on the left side of the barrel and it's got 2 wires going to it. I'm assuming it's the reminder chime switch, but don't want to cut the wires just yet, as I sure a hell can't get a screwdriver to the screws, so does anyone know the trick to getting them off?? they seem to be in a position that would only be accessible if you take out the 2 security screws and remove the entire switch/ turn signal assembly. OR should I just cut the wires and be done.
Thanks for the help.
