2G External oil cooler mounting w/ ABS

Was just wondering for those who have 2gs with an external oil cooler with ABS if the ABS unit became an issue with mounting and if it did how you overcame it. Thanks.

No, they ABS unit isn't in the way of mounting in the front driver's corner. Late 2gs might have issues with the charcoal canister though. I had removed mine long before I had for a short time put a cooler up there but I would think it would have made mounting there painful if not impossible.

Here's one with the ABS still there - plenty of room. Charcoal canister is removed.

On a 97 with a Denso ABS unit, there is absolutely clearance issues. Very little room between the bumper cover on a Talon and the ABS bits.

Damn it. Well I'll just have to mock up a box or something and see if it works. I have a 95 with a 2gb eclipse

Update: I used a small B&M unit, it was a tight fit with a 2gb front bumper cover.
