Ebay external oil cooler?

So, I'm wanting to go external oil cooler, mostly to eliminate the messed up stock water cooled one. I was looking on ebay and found this one:

Would all of those fitting work or would I still have to get a MachV housing?

That should work, it uses a sandwich adapter, between the filter and the oil filter housing. It will move your oil filter closer tot he downpipe, so I hope your not using an extremely oversized one that might not clear being pushed out more.

Some people are using this method. You obviously will have to loop the coolant lines that go through the stock oil filter housing.

My downpipe is 2.5" apexi N1, you think that would interfere? I don't use an oversized oil filter either, just stock size. Yea, I already understood the looping of the coolant lines. Twas wondering if anyone has used a product such as this as well.

Might buy this oil cooler kit as well. I'm curious if a perma cool remote thermostat can be integrated into the kit sold on ebay?

A little update for you guys: Got this in from Fedex today. I'm displeased so far. The adapter to extend the filter screw is too small and the filter hits the downpipe. Any idea of a shorter filter I could use?

How much smaller is it? It's probably gonna need to be like 1/2-1" shorter than a purolator.
