exaust gasket not sealing

I got my engine back together last night and the gasket on the bottom of the manifold is leaking pretty good. Is there a thicker gasket I can get/make, or would it be ok to use 2 gaskets? I have an extra one. Here's a pic to show you what gasket.

When I had a pacesetter header on my old NA I blew that same gasket like 3 times. I'd wire wheel both mating surfaces use a fresh gasket with a thin layer of copper rtv on it.

Both mating surfaces were clean, I cleaned them while it was apart. The gasket is brand new...
