I would get link, run a gm maf, or get speed density.
I would just get a better tuning program and tune your sluggish low end out instead of playing guessing games attempting to match mass airflow sensors to injectors.
Like said above If you have a Eprom Ecu. just compensate for your mods that way... .
Your next purchase should definitely be dsmlink. One of the best beginning mods to purchase.
. No, Link would be a damn good option to go with. Good luck and happy motoring brother
. With that being said I made the switch up ecmlink full and haven't looked back. Granted evoscan just came out with mobile data screen with gps. Good luck! What else is a real tuning solution then.
People never stop amazing me... nobody is even bothering to say why half the time...
In the end it doesn't matter how your car is tuned or what you use to do it so long as your not using something like Safc to alter the signals to the Ecu...
The major difference in all tunings systems is the GUI that you use to accomplish the end result...(yes there are upsides and downsides To ANY system you use) but as long as your achieving the same goal... a proper tune does it really matter? what route you go? in the end they are all doing the same thing Editing code.
The OP Stated what there plans are and clearly stated Dsm/ecmlink wasn't an option an they weren't going that route with this car...
So why continue to try to sell them on it? I see so many threads on here of people saying get link like it will tune itself then the poster a week later is putting up a log with a Wot pull two minutes after installing it asking why they have 10° timing being pulled at 5-5.5k
Don't get me Wrong V3 ECMLINK is a great product but it is not the end all of tuning solutions and anyone with a real understanding of what is really going on and what to do about it should be able to use anything regardless of how nice of a GUI it has... Everything has a learning curve...

BTW these are Rhetorical questions
That's pretty conservative price wise. to setup Sd
The link forums and the help you get is worth the purchase of link alone.Okay thats nice, but what about finding support for the product and knowledge of the platform?
Good luck getting anywhere near the service and support, not to mention the archives of information on the forums, from AEM, MS, MoTeC, or even Jackal, and EVOScan that you get with ECMLink.
At least half the reason you buy link is for the community behind it and the guys running the show.
OP FWIW, I run SD with V3 Full, but I calibrate with an Evo8 MAS and adapter cable to a 1G MAS Plug.
