I have found a pretty large crack in my manifold and decided to upgrade... My 2nd gen is currently running a evo3 16g and from all the searches i have done they have not answered my questions. I was wondering if the evo manifold will bolt up stock to the evo turbo or if it will need a mild port to fit and a 7cm gasket.

Thanks

Sure it'll bolt up, that's the manifold the EVOIII 16g originally came with. I guess you can say they were made for each other. But it never hurts to gasket match . . . as long as you don't go too far. I say get the manifold, check it out, and if you don't like the outlet size, port it. It's not hard at all. I'm sure there are a ton of threads on porting. Check out these links from VFAQ

The Evo III manifold and 2G manifolds are the same part aside from the collector size. If you port the collector of a 2G manifold to match the 7cm2 inlet of the Evo III 16G's turbine housing, you basically have an Evo III manifold.

I had the GT manifold for my EVOIII GT setup. It was awesome. Relatively cheap (only $170 from dsmparts.com), large runners, large collector, pre tapped for EGT probe, and it's made of a nickel alloy so it won't crack as easy as cast iron. Good call.
