Ok So I have a standard 4g63 7 bolt with a head that is ready to go, and my options are to rebuild the head on an engine that will probably crankwalk one day anyway, or there is a shop around me selling an Evo III engine for 600$.

This is for a 95 GST. My question is will the stock GST tranny bolt up to the EVO III? I know the EVO came AWD and the GST is FWD. I read several posts on this about the swap but didnt seem to get that information. I'm mostly going for price here since the engine is so cheap.

i've also thought about doing the 1g swap as well, but this engine is readily available so thats why im asking. Thanks!

Is it? I thought the evo III was a 6 bolt. So is this engine prone to crank walk as well? I have real bad luck with engines and I dont want to take any chances LOL.

Every thing should bolt right up, i just did an evo 3 swap on my gsx and i love it! Just make sure you get the wiring harness for the CAS swap.

i think crankwalk should be in the list of censored words in this forum. I dont even think its as high as 15%, i would say like 5% maybe

well this is good to know im glad to hear it, my 4g63 is fine as it is, I could just as easily rebuild the head on it.
