evo 8 turbo on 1st gen

hi, i cant seen to find a thread on this and im sure im putting this in the wrong area, but it wont let me post this anyplace else. so if this needs to be moved, sorry mods.

but awhile back i saw a manifold to put the stock evo 8 turbo on a 1st or 2nd gen and was wondering if that was out on the market. if so can anyone point me in the right direction to purchase it or if someone has one they want to sell just let me know.

or even if anyone has done this can give me any info, like numbers and pics of how it looks.

All the pics are of the hot side of the turbo but what pipe is being used to run the turbo into the intercooler? Any pics available?

Have to make a custom lower pipe to go to the intercooler. I was able to shorten my SSAC licp and then I just made a new pipe out of my previous j pipe.... I'll snap a few pictures of it tonight.

Anything else?

No I was just wondering since I've been saving for this set up and was gonna start buying the pieces over the winter. If u could post the pics it would be greatly appreciated. I would start looking for a j-pipe and a welder to fab something up.

These are pictures of my custom setup... Remember mine is custom and not the Revshift manifold or VBand exhaust. I believe with the Revshift stuff you have to use a forward facing oil filter housing, or a remote oil filter housing.

Seriously it's awsome..I'm gonna read the whole thing..I had an idea to do this myself..Now that it's been done a few times.It makes it slightly easier.It takes the headache away.

We actually just sold the whole setup. It was a killer setup, made 22psi at 3000 dead on with, a 2.4. It was enough to walk away from a 2.3 HX40 car.

to prove this can be done again, here This setup has a MAP ef4 upgrade to it, along with a custom compressor cover. lil bit of info on the turbo..

The EF4 was designed to extract every last horsepower out of the stock frame configuration, capable of 650whp
Billet compressor wheel with MAP exclusive blade design
12cm twin scroll turbine housing
3" anti-surge compressor housing standard

what map does, is the hog out the cold side to fit a much larger billet al. compressor blade in the stock housing, allowing for true bolt on power.(for evos.) anyways, here a few pics of it in my 2g gsx.
