So was cleaning it and saw it has a lil split with a hair line fracture buddy is saying its fine can make some kind of support for it. Am I f***ed?

So now took the bolt out and the thing came off completely can it be welded back still or is my block f***ed now

Someone please let me know if can be welded still I'm stressed out sence this happened thinking now idk if it can be fixed.

A good welder should be able to weld that no problem. Its cast so it has to be heated and cleaned and heated again before welding. The threads will probably have to be chased/cleaned up after welding.

You could actually stick weld that quite easily. They have rods specifically for cast iron. I used those rods on my turbo housing and my exhaust manifold. They weld so smoothly and after grinding the weld disappears into the surrounding metal and it looks like it was never broken.
 
BUT...cast iron should always be heated before welding for the best weld. Just about any seasoned welder will know how to take care of it. :thumb:
