Hi. Im going to be ordering a wire harness connector kit from Magnus to rebuild the harness as its in really bas shape at the connectors. My car has been heavily butchered.....It started as a 1ga and a few motor swaps later and cut up harness In not sure now.

I believe that the CAS is different between a 1ga and 1gb and I can tell the difference there. Is there anything else different on the engine harness? I need to figure it out so I can order the parts. Im not positive about the coil connector and maybe there are more differences.

Thanks

You can pull your ecu out and see if it's part number indicates it's a "90 or "91-"94
Here are a few other things you can look for...

ISC on a "90 has the wires coming out of it going to a connector with pins, [on the "91-99 dsms connector pins are on the ISC housing.]

The ignition coil is a 4 pin square connector on a "90 dsm [on the "91-"99 dsms has a triangle 3 wire setup.]

The TPS on a "90 has wires coming out of it to a connector [on the 91-99 dsm the TPS has pins and a connector built into the sensor.]

On a "90 harness the cruise control motor and it's wire connector is by the positive battery cable, [on the 91-94 the cruise control unit is located on the firewall along with it's connector]

I happen to have both harnesses side by side at the moment so I know
also the little fuse box on the + battery cable is bigger on the 91-94 harness, it has places for 4 fuses, where as the "90 has only 3 slots for fuses.
