Okay so i just got done doing a wire tuck on my 95 tsi, but im runing into problems my fuel pump doesnt turn on, check engine light doesnt light up when first turnin the key, rear view mirror lights dont light up, and can not connect via the obd2 port. what in the hell happened here? what should i check?

Ive checked all fuses and replaced all with new ones, i only removed anything dealing with abs or srs on the engine harness, and on the ecu harness i removed everything going along the cowl but did solder the 2 wires going to the blue connector together

EDIT: i fixed all that was wrong before and everything is working fine other than i keep getting a code for crankshaft position sensor circuity malfuntion. does anyone have the wiring schematic for the crankshaft and camshaft position sensors?

Anybody have any ideas on where to start? The fuel pumps not really much of an issue cause I can always hardwire it to a relay. I'd just like to figure out the obd port

Fuse 11 in the underhood box (10 amp) powers the DLC (OBD port), key reminder switch, ETACS ECU, dome lamp, combo meter/cluster, luggage lamp, radiao, & auto cruise ECU.
I would start there, it has to be a bad connection or open wire etc.

You know i knew to check that fuse but honestly am so frustrated with this damn wiring that i never even thought to trace the wiring for that damn fuse. Thats a great start id say. How about wiring for the mpi relay what all ties into that, possibly the wire for fuse 11?

Fusable link 4 (20 amp) large fuse supplys the power for the loads on the MPI relay.
fusable link 6 (30 amp) large fuse powers the igntion switch, that feeds the power supply for the fuel pump portion of the MPI relay.
Also sends key on power to the ECU thru the ignition switch.

The ECU controls the MPI relay, it grounds each coil section of the relay to activate each power output.
(the MPI relay has 2 field coils to control 2 seprate switched power outputs, roughly 1 part is for injectors & coil power other is fuel pump power)

Need to get in there & start testing what & where your lacking something along the way.
These are power distrubtion diagrams. Check the appropriate fuses for power to & from;
