I am installing a egt gage is there a specific runner that I should place it in or should I put it near the center of the collector?

Near the center of the collector. You would want the most general reading for all cylinders not just 1 or 2.

Yeah I thought you would put it at the base of the collectors. To get a reading from all 4 cylinders
