hey guys im installing my portfueler this weekend. So i was wondering if anyone know where i can buy a EGR block off kit.

i found one on ebay but im not really sure about it because the guy says off road use only.. so it looks like 2 plates one goes in front of the EGR valve and other on IM.

The reason it states off road only is because if you do an EGR block off you will not pass emissions tests in most states. Nont sure on a 420A but most cars the block off will also trow a code making it impocible to get an inspecion sticker (in most states) I am lucky to live in a state where I have no emissions laws.

I bought mine off ebay for like $9 shipped. They have to say "for off road use only" because it's part of the emissions system and it's against the law to drive it on the roads, same deal goes for not having a catalytic converter. If you're in a state the doesn't have emissions testing though go for it. It's a pretty simple install, just a little piece of metal.

habitat, He has a 420a it is not as simple as the block off got the 4g63. The EGR exhaust gass is routed of the exhayst manifold if I am not mistaken.

The EGR is mounted to the head. It is simple to block off the EGR, and there are methods of avoiding the associated CEL.
