Ok everyone out there I really need your guys help/input. Just want to say thanks again to everyone out there that's giving me the help I needed to get my 95 eagle talon 6 bolt swap done. Been about 2 months since I've been on the site been working to much and haven't had chance to play with the car anymore.

It's been a long journey but think it's there. To start off will my talon run with a 6 bolt swap and a ecm v3 link without changing any of the settings???

So I've never tuned a car or come close to it all this is new but I'm great with a wrench and getting the job done. Right now the car turns over but turns VERY SLOWLY makes a weird sound almost like its the starter. I've changed the starter and still it does the same thing. Just hoping / wondering if it had anything to do with the tuning and do I need to change any of the settings to get this baby to run. Any input is greatly appreciated!!

Congratulations on your swap.

We had a similar situation on our first swap start up with Link, and it turned out we hadn't changed the firing order to match. The ecu, Link and the spark plug wires must all be expecting the same firing order, or you and get a very strange, uneven, and slow crank.

What firing order should I be using? I found a diagram online and it says. If your looking from the front of the engine and going from the very left ignition coil to the right goes to spark plug 3 and the next goes to 2,1,4?

So I forgot to mention when I first got the swap done the car ran for about 20 mins in between start ups and ran no problem with only a high rpm on a stock ecu, that was due to cable and is all fixed now. Then the next day I wired a boost, wide band and oil pressure gauge. I went to test the gauges and when I was done and the car hasn't ran since, so I disconnected every and still won't start.

Since then I've got my chipped ecu and that's where it sits now.

If the car ran before wouldn't my firing order be right now? Or since I've changed from a stock ecu it changes as well?

Yes its a 95, right when I got the 6 bolt done I used the stock ecu cause my ecm link had water damage. And it ran with the stock ecu. It ran before I installed gauges so yes I I removed all the gauges and it hasn't ran since.
