Whats going everyone out there, so I got a few questions Im having trouble connecting my ecm link to my computer. So I have mac version 10.6.8

I've downloaded all the drivers from the ecm tuning site and still no connection. Few months ago I was having the same trouble with the car sent my ecu out to ECM tuning and my case was bad they fixed it give it back to me connected to the car no problem. Before I sent it out though the car wouldn't run. Currently the car runs so my question is would my car run if my chip was bad?

If not what else could it be I've feel like I've tried everything. Any advice is greatly appreciated thanks to all you guys out there!!
