I just bought a 92 Laser with a lot of mods, this is not my first DSM but it is my first with DSMLink.

When I got the car it was tuned for 104 octane and ran decent. Then the battery went dead and it ran like crap. So I assume it lost the tune. I tried to tune it a little and now it runs even worse.

I have some logs but I don't know how to upload them. Also the guy I bought it from said it dynoed at 27 psi at 485hp but it was retuned at 20psi for a DD, but he said it had 500cc inj but the DSMLink has 584cc and 49 psi for the Fuel Pressure put in the global fuel. But they are both way low for the much hp aren't they?

There is a 0850 etched on the side of the inj, does that mean they are 850cc inj? The Fuel Pressure is set at 30psi at idle, that is also low right?

The idle surges up and down and when your driving the higher in the rpm you go the worse it runs. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I live in Beaufort SC so if anyone lives close and would come help me out or knows someone fairly close I can take it to, to get it tuned that would be great.

Thanks Josh

I am new to tunning and my car is running like crap.I just put a new clutch and alternater in and now it looks like it's not going in to closed loop.It was running perfect before but now it runs worse .What am I missing.

It was running 32psi at idle but I read it was suppose to be 37 psi so I upped

In your log you have your base fuel pressure set to 42psi (needs to be set to 37psi).
Your fuel pressure needs to be set at idle with the vacuum line off, or use link to turn the pump on with car not running.

Your mas may be good, your translator settings may be off.

Your translator needs to be set on the stock settings.

Let me locate your deadtimes

If that's a delphi injector your deadtime may be around 420.

If you don't get it running I can drive up to you this coming weekend.

Your newest log looks alot better. Clear your DTC codes. Are you using a wideband?

Maybe a mod can move this thread for you.
