Eclipse to Evo conersion

I was just thinking...

i live in europe where we got the Evo VI Evo VII and Evo VIII staright from the local dealer

i was wondering... what if i went to the the parts counter and bought an Evo's Exhaust manifold, B16G turbo and downpipe, intercooler, injectos etc...

and "converted" my 4G63 to a Evo's 4G63... is this possible? how diff are the 2 engine? do they have the same block? is it worth it? or for the same money u can get better aftermarket stuff?

Nope. Ever looked at the engine bay in an Evo? From IV on the engine is turned 180* from ours.

that and while ive looked at some evo 8 engine pics ive noticed the valve cover looks like it a a lot taller than ours ( t/l/e 4g63) are.. just something ive noticed.
