The only good one is the NGR type s.
Your stock BOV can handle a TON of boost, why upgrade what doesn't need changing?
I have the NGR type-s, I have had it forever, it seems to hold great, I am at 19psi.
Although I have to say it is the most ANNOYING thing I have ever heard on my or any car, I hate every minute I drive with it "blowing" off, PAAAAAAACHIIIIIIIIINK!!!!!!!!!
I have a 1g sitting around that I just need some motivation to put on, TREV, your in my area PM if you want I will hook u up with the type s, if that is the case you just have to wait maybe a few hours for me to get the other flange welded on my pipe.....
Ebay type-s
I have one on my car until I get some funds for a better one. It sucks horribly. It flutters and sounds like crap. The screw in the top stripped out and the nipple on the back broke off.
when it flutters all the time no matter what, it seems like the diaphragm has ripped. this is common on the knockoff hks/greddy. open it and you will see. you can always replace the diaphragm with a real greddy and then it should function properly and still be cheaper than a real greddy or NRG.
the screw stripping on top as well is common problem with the knock off greddys. easy solution by removing and getting new one with same thread or rethread the hole.
still i know some, make that many, would rather not do all the above.
