e85 fuel

Can my dsm run e85 fuel or is there something that needs to be done to it first? What are the advantages to it?

E85 is approx; 105 octane for a reasonable price as opposed to race gas. Therefore able to take more timing. However it usually requires about 30% more fuel to achieve the same power level.
No you should not just run it in a bone stock car. Without some method of tuning your fuel it is a VERY bad idea.

Minimum requirements IMO are..

*Tuning Device (AFC/SAFC, ECMLink, AEM, etc)
*Bigger Injectors (650cc and beyond)
*Bigger Fuel Pump (Walbro 190/255, Bosch 044)


Alot of people recommend
*Anodized Fuel Rails
*SS Fuel Lines
*Aftermarket Fuel Filter

660 cc is still too small.. a guy on evo m maxed them out under 300 hp..... i recall seeing e85 set up uses 33% more fuel than 550cc. so yea you need something a little more beefy.
