i am considering running e85, my car is a stock mirae with a 4g63t 2g engine. was wondering if any of the guys here that run e85 have to absolutely change their fuel lines. from sending unit all the way to the rail?

No reason at all to change your lines. I would suggest a new fuel filter like mentioned above. Then just appropriate sized fuel pump and injectors to your setup.

my injectors right now just got cleaned and flowtested at rc engineering, and fuel pump is walbro 255. but my fuel filter hasnt been changed. so i guess ill do that one. how important is changing fuel rails and adding aFPR?

Your stock fuel rail will be MORE than fine. Don't even think about having to swap it.

As for the AFPR that's up to you. I'd do it if it's in your budget, but as long as you're not overrunning it and it's in good shape you'll be fine. I'm on the stock FPR and hold solid stock fuel pressure.

Change your fuel filter after running about half a tank of E85 and then call it good. If you watch your AFRs and they start to get lean after a while, you might need to change it one more time. It's cleaning out all the gunk in your gas tank.

Stock likes good to about 550-600hp before you would even worry. Just change the fuel filter everything else is fine.

I've heard the same about e85 being corrosive to the stock fuel rail but I have a buddy who has ran it for two years and says its BS.

Idk how true that is though. I've always heard your fuel rail MUST be anodized

ok awesome I honestly don't have the time nor the money to switch out my fuel lines.
E85 here I come

I am on stock lines, just a Fuel Lab filter and rail to filter and rail to FPR upgrade.
