ok I have a question? I have a 1990 tsi and I am going to run E85 I was told to get 1250 injectors. What else do I need a fuel rail, regulator, will the 1250 go right in or do I need different clips, will a wally 255 feed the 1250's just wondering?

Do you even have an engine management system (like dsmlink)? What turbo do you plan on running? You need an afpr when you install a walbro 255 anyways. You may want to start with the basic mods first and work your way up from there. Tech Guide: 1G 4G63t Upgrades - DSMtuners Your profile says you have a completely stock car. 500hp, while not unobtainable, is a long road that is going to require A LOT of learning on your part. 1250 injectors will fit like stock yes, though without a way to tune you are wasting your time even thinking about buying them right now. From searching it seems that a single 255 will not support 500hp on e85. Here are just a couple of threads about alternative fuels (e85 and e70) http://www.dsmtuners.com/forums/newbie-forum/372386-alternative-fuel-e85-e-85-ethanol-corn-gas-e70-advanced-merged.html http://www.dsmtuners.com/forums/newbie-forum/59040-alternative-fuel-e85-ethanol-corn-gas-e70-beginner-merged.html

ok thanks here is what I have now, CB head kelford 272's shep stage 3 trans, dss axles and driveshafts, punishment racing 02housing for external wastgate, fpgreen turbo dsm link v3. still to come jmf manifold injectors, fuel rail, etc.

A single wally will supported e85. It is best you buy a Rewire kit from STM so it'll be easier and get pump working the best it can. Or you can buy the DW300lph which has been seen to make 650whp on e85. Stock fuel rail will be fine. You will need an AFPR. Stock lines will be fine as well. The paper filter doesn't really last long to some people, so get a SS filter from STM while you're at it.

I'm running dual 255's (rewired obviously) with a -8 feed and 1550's. Aeromotive rail and regulator. Make sure you get a filter with a stainless insert. I went with the fuel lab -8in/out with a 40 micron insert. This should be more than enough for my 600ish whp goal.

We have enough info floating around our site about E85 that another thread about the topic is unneccesary.

To the OP, if you had searched our forums you would have found two very useful threads that would have easily answered your basic questions and then some. Please take the time to read through them soaking up all the info, then if you have any questions feel free to post so we can possibly clear it up for you.
