It's cheaper, but consumed faster, it's corrosive, and the market for it is dwindling.

Pro - cheaper ;)
Con - need dsmlink (which you should have anyways!), need to have supporting mods (walbro 255, minimum of 1050cc inj, and etc)

I'm sure there's more!!
 
OP, there is a lot more to it than the above statements: yes it is cheaper, yet if more of it is consumed to provide a certain amount of energy than gasoline, it comes out being more of a draw on cost. Having said that, injecting more of a liquid into the IM and combustion chamber has a cooling effect as the liquid is subject to extreme heat. This is a pro. E85 is also said to have a 105 octane rating(pro), although this is misleading as during the year different ratios of alcohol are used(4) which effect it greatly octane wise, depending on ones climate(con). It is corrosive, as any sort of alcohol can be(think of a liver...). And that's just scraping the surface, I am sure that later on this morning others can further elaborate.
