E-brake light malfunction?

Plan and simple, my e-brake light is always on, even if the lever is all the way down. It's not really a big problem, just an inconvenience. Anyone run into this/ know probably causes? If it's too much work, I probably won't get around to fixing it anytime soon due to the new clutch going in tomorrow. Thanks.

So it sounds like I just need to remove the cup holder assembly and then look for a certain nut that needs to be tightened? If that's the case, that seems easier then most DSM problems turn out to be!
