There was a guy that had a v6 3.8 90s mustang. I told him about my eclipse and he said that his mustang could top out faster at 150 mph and had better acceleration. I looked up the specs on that car the mother f.u.c.k.e.r barely made it over a 150hp I dont see that car going faster than any of the dsms.
 
Some kid in a tasteful Hyundai tiburon told me he supercharged his car. So, me and my bud asked him to show it to us, he popped the hood talking some jazz. I'm obviously looking at a stock motor with a basic rice intake, I asked the dude where's the supercharger, he replies inside the motor...................

I was measuring a engine blocks bore at some kids house, and he kept acting like he knowed more about DSM's then me... I thought well maybe he knows his stuff...

He then complimented my $10.00 digital caliper, and says.... Thats ONE nice micrometer you got there.
 
Here's my favorite, by a long shot.

Back when I was in high school there was some dumb senior with a turd Eclipse (or Talon/Clipse conversion). I saw a FMIC so I figured it was worth a look. I walked over and asked if it was FWD or AWD, he responds FWD so I'm assuming GST. To my amazement he pops the hood and there's a heap of shit 420a in there with a random FMIC just bolted to what ever the #### Now I'm internally laughing my ass off, I say oh It's a 420a, :rolleyes: , he says "actually this is the 420b" WTF ROFL

This thing was the biggest heap of shit in the parking lot. See fer yerselves.

I was a little confused when i first looked into the engine compartment.
 
Literally not 5 minutes ago I was sitting in the GSX on break smoking a cigarette and this kid walks up and starts talking. Here's how it went down:

Kid: Nice 'clipse dude. Any mods?
Me : Yeah, FP green, cams, stroker kit, big front mount and some other goods.
Kid: Sweet dude I bet it hauls ass!
Me: Thanks man! Yeah it does the job.
Kid: Yeah I had a fast car when I was in the army. It was a suzuki esteem with the eclipse gsx twin turbo motor.
Me: It wasnt twin turbo, this is a GSX. A 2.0 (2.4 in my case) 4 cyl single turbo. But cool swap none the less.
Kid: No this was a 2.8 v6
Me: Cool bro, I gotta go back inside.....
 
Gettin emmissions done today so i can toss a 3" straight pipe with the apexi n1 droppin off the 1g today to get some hard pipe welded up!! gettin the front mount welded up and squeezing in this mishimoto radiator...DsM

-He was flashing the 98-99 ECU's before anyone else was. He also claims to have had all the ECU codes to burn chips for eproms before Jeff at DSMchips started selling them. Him and Jeff are the only two people on the planet with codes for the 2G.

-FWD will out perform AWD any day. AWD isn't for performance they only made them because they sold DSMs in areas that snow.

-Body kit is the only way to improve flow.

All the bullsh!t and he's a mechanic and a motorcycle tech. In fact he claims to have designed the combustion chambers for the R1. He pulled so much timing my car would barely move, would sputter, and back fire but I was told it wasn't the tune it was the driver. He either did a horrible tune or is that jealous of someone with a better setup.

ROFL Yeah, and I personally synthesize and nuclear reaction test the lubricants in English Racings' car while calculating the time variant when to invert the flux inhibitor on Sheps' muffler turbines.

Someone yelled 'nice ricer' at me while driving on an empty city street last fall... 2nd gear WOT, kids had to cover there ears due to soo much noise from the side exit exhaust. nbd :boring:
 
So sunday i head to walmart..... i pull up at the turn light and have my music going in my own little world until i notice this little white toyota pullin up real slow next to me i look over and this kid who looks about 16 with i guess his girlfriend in the car is just smiling and keeps pulin closer to the light while looking at me so light turns green and i turn and get on it just a little......... i park my car and start heading into walmart and i see the kid walking up to me and this is the conversation that followed
Me- its a toyota be serious
Him- what kind of car is that i have never seen one before
Me- (laughs) its a eagle talon basically a mitsubishi eclipse your toyota doesnt want none
Him- oh you wanna race (scared look on his face being tough for his girlfriend)... you got any motor work done
Me- (walks away laughing little does he know its a bone stock n/t)
 
Funniest thing!!!! I sold my first DSM after I got my 99 GST but anyways it was a 96 RS just basic bolt ons to the motor and sadly a riced out interior LOL but anyways someone bought it after a week or so of sitting at this dealership and one night I saw it cruising around so I decided to be a douche and roll up beside him so I rolled down the window and said sweet car bro!!! Did you build it yourself.... he was like ya I've had it for 3 years did all the work myself.... I was in awe hahaha I just drove off
 
Not a DSM, but I have talked to numerous people asking me how much they can increase there cubic inches by going with a longer rod ><
 
I put a COP setup on craigs, and some dumbass responds asking if they are stock or JDM. I told him neither, then he told me no thanks he wanted JDM ones.

I ####ing hate people.

No they came on the ultra rare JDM 6 wheel drive 4G63 twin turbo. Only sold in Japan, and nobody has ever seen one... except me.

They do exist though....I promise... they do. JDM yo
