Open Foot, Insert Mouth.... or wait. No that's right. I've heard some of the dumbest shit come out of 4g63 powered dsm owners. Generally the stuff I here from n/t guys is just ignorance. But the stuff I here from the turbo guys is just astounding.

^ Typical conversation with anyone that asks me if my car is turbo ^ Why would you even ask that when you've heard my spool/turbo/blow-off valve/engine sound, or seen my intercooler.... Yes its ####ing turbo, yes its running cams, ask a better question.

I got into a conversation with a mustang owner that was really knowledgeable last night when I went to pick up some smokes. He asked me about internals, etc, asked me if I was running link, so and so forth.

So then I go to ask him about his car and his response was

"Yah she's got the stock 4.6, K&"M" intake, Diablo Tuner, putting over 400 to the wheels. "

I was like "Wow thats ####ing amazing considering the stock 4.6 single cam only makes 225 crank"

Seriously... people that are ####ing retarded shouldn't be allowed to read superstreet, or modified mag, or import tuner, ever. So tired of ####ing mustang owners. I imagine that will only get worse since ford has finally managed to extract 400 whp out of a 5.0 v-8 and matched to a good six speed.

Also conversation I overheard from a kid who has a 4g63. He was telling people it was a 92 (looked exactly like a 2gb) and that it was just the stock 2.0 but it runs 12s all day...

2g eclipses are like 3000 - 3200lbs gst - gsx

Yes I agree mustangs do handle like shopping carts though.....

My mom has a 97 gt convert, my dad has an 04 Cobra convert triple black dyno'd 492 @ rear wheels.

That cobra has horrible traction and can easily burn the tires into 4th. However, the entire time as a passenger, you can feel the instant and relentless power at all times.

Mustangs are so common in my area I really am not a fan. I owned an 86 gt, it didn't make me a believer. You can't rule them all out though. I've seen some extremely fast stangs of all years around....There are at least 3 03-04 cobras putting down damn near or just over 500hp in the Wilkes Barre local area alone...

As far as a cobra putting down 500hp, Imean seriously, they got huge displacement, and TONS OF AFT MKT...... not to mention they make like 325-400 stock... Seems very easy to achieve...

If I ever bought a Mustang... it would have to be a 2000+ cobra.

They only have a 4.6 v8 which is huge compared to our little 2.0's but that's just a little guy in the v8 world. It's likely only a 28x ci. where chevy used the 5.7 350ci for pretty much everything. There are big blocks which have some serious displacement with sizes like the 502ci (8.2(3) liters baby!) That's four of our engines. Imagine the boost you could push through that puppy...

Yea, from the factory the 03-04 Cobras we're nothing to shake a stick at running 12.x's out the gates..



I doubt my dad invested all that much to get his where it is. I know he has a smaller pulley on the sc,, full exhaust, cai, suspension (which didn't do anything for the traction) and frequent tire replacement in the rear...

Great story about a drive thru. I sold Audi and Porsche at Wyoming Valley Motors for while back around 06. I used to take keys for cars go out and hop in and out til I found one that needed gas, go for a ride (the place was soo boring otherwise...) I took a brand new A8L out got gas, and decided to stop at Wendy's and grab something to eat on the way back.

I miss driving the nicest cars and getting paid for it.....I used to love going to auction pick ups. We used to get Ferrari, Lamborghini, Porsches, all types of crazy cars. Dealer trades to that huge place in Jersey that is like a mile strip of high end car dealers under one name... Can't think of it off hand..I got to drive a Cayman S back from there for a customer...It was incredible, I dusted our chase mazda 3 like 20 times, a vr6 jetta, what fun there is to be had in other peoples cars haha

Manhiem auto auction ? I know they are the biggest auction in the world where all the dealers go to. I drove a few exotics there.

If i could kick you in the nuts i would..... ^^^^^^THAT is one of the dumbest god damn things Ive ever read a dsmer say..... I have a mustang and around 270whp and around 350 ft lbs at the wheel. The 4.6 is a good motor dont knock it...... Given i have a foxbody but I wouldnt even waste my time talking to you at a car meet. knowing you would say you cant stand mustang owners.... Very BOLD statement considering the guys who do know mustangs some how have faster cars than most dsm's :O . I still have stock heads and cam and almost 300whp and WELL over 300 lbs of torque.... But i wouldnt expect you to understand where im coming from when i say this.

Dont knock on all mustangs foxbodies are lighter than dsm's..... My notchback was weighed at 2900lbs with me in it.

Car also has no bumper beams , no rear seat belts no spare tire , n jack no a/c ... Still full interior... Not that heavy considering most muscle cars are 3500lbs and above..... And they do handle better than dsm's.... Just saying dsm's have the worst steering radius.

That's because most people have never heard of a GVR4 and when they hear VR4 they think 3000GT which is a twin-turbo.

Hmmm read 350 ft lbs NA that means no turbo, still have stock shit heads and stock cam.... and stock 3:53 gears..... 4:10 gears gt40p heads and tfs1 cam ill be 350whp almost 400 ft lbs.... . Buddy of mine has almost the same exact mod list as me and is running 11.4 in the 1/4 N/A...... DOnt be cocky theres a reasonw hy your probabtionary......

The other day I was toying with my boost controller.. Turned it to far up like a dumbass and kept it on that setting because there were many evos at my school and yeah you know I wanted to show the dsm power off haha.

I never said the 4.6l wasn't a good motor. But I think it is literally impossible to be putting over 400 to the wheels with just a diablo tuner and a K&"M" filter when ford didn't ever manage to extract more than 300 BHP and that was with VCT in the 5th gen cars.

Was looking at this GVR4 for sale buy a "DSMer", he said it had a 4bolt rear. I looked underneath the car and saw a 3 bolt. Dude said yes its a 4bolt, he pointed at the driveshaft flange/pumpkin bolts.
