so i was looking online, but i came across a dual port bov. now im a HUGE fan of the open atmospheric sound, but i dont want to lose performance by running rich during shifting periods.

so i came across a bov that is dual port. it allows you to have the sound without dropping the performance. it blows some pressure into the intake and the rest to the atmoshere. so my question is, has anyone used this or something like it before?

also, does anyone know of the website where i can preview the bov sounds? i was told there is one. thanks!

Here is the website with the sounds you are looking for.

A dual-port BOV as you speak of still releases metered air to the atmosphere. This will still cause you to run rich. Spend the $200 on MAFT and gain tunability for the cost of a dual port BOV.

Dual port BOV = Half-assed attempt to openly vent without the proper setup. If you want to vent to the atmosphere, get a GM MAF setup, or a VPC.

Any type of improper venting is horrible on performance and the motor itself.
I recently installed a GM MAF blow-thru setup and it was worth every penny.
I can baseline tune WOT, idle and fuel trims.
Spool time is way under 1000rpms- even closer to 500 rpm's at any speed.
I can vent without sideeffects and performance loss.

I noticed a difference in power from the UICP and TB elbow that I installed as well.
