Well first, you have to have a specific ECU. Your 97 ecu will not work. You either need an ecu from a 95 or you need to get your ecu chipped. Then you need to buy ecmlink.

I'm still having a hard time getting my computer set up with DSMlink.

Awesome program when it works for you but it's just me not getting it yet. I've tried the website too but I'll eventually get off my lazy tail and figure it out.

Step 1 put the cd-rom into your laptop drive. Step 2 autorun cd. Step 3-???? click next and/or ok. Step 4: Plug 1 end of dsm link cable into your computer, and the other end into your obd port. step 5: ???? step 6: profit
