dsmlink version?

Im looking at a ecu with dsmlink already installed on it. The guy that is selling the ecu bought it without knowing what version it had on it. Can someone tell by this image what version of dsmlink is on this ecu? Thank you for your help and time

I would say v2

Correct, that's a V2 chip.

However, if you're looking to upgrade to V3, it doesn't matter what version you have (or even what generation you have - 1g or 2g). They will all upgrade as long as you have the proper parts.

I don't think you should be posting pics of the actual chip ( serial #)

the owner was the one that told me to make a post with that picture to see what version it was. I didnt know that was an issue?
