ECMlink DSMLink v2 cable Mac adaptor?

Hello fellow tuners, well i about given up trying to find laptops that will fit this DSMlink cable of mine. I have a MacBook as my only source (computer wise) to use DSMlink. So if someone could so kindly point me in the right direction to find an adaptor for my mac, that would be amazing. The Dsmlink came with my car so i cant get access to the Link forum for help there. You need a USB to serial adapter. 2G's use standard data rates so you can use almost anything that has Mac support. usbtoserialadapterinfo [ECMTuning - wiki]

Contact the guys at ECMTuning and show then that you have a real version of DSMLink and they'll give you access to the forums. counterfeitcopies [ECMTuning - wiki]

Like Steve mention, you need a USB to serial adapter. I use a Keyspan USA-19HS with no problems on my 95 Talon with v2. I have a MacBook Pro BTW. GL

You can't go wrong with the Keyspan USA-19HS. The problem is finding one close.
On a 1G that's about the only choice but with a 2G any Mac supported one should work.

Thanks guys!! This is exactly what i needed. I contacted the guys at ECMlink about me joining their forum, they said i need my ECU serial number in order to join. Only thing i have to way to get to it without pulling it out. So hopefully with this adapter ill be seeing you guy there soon!!

Alright ran into a bit of a problem, i ended up buying this one:

Once i hooked everything up and when i try to connect all im getting is "Scan failed to find working connection" any idea what could be wrong?

Nvm, cable came with a drive i has to install.. SMH
