got the link up and running ,the ecu was fried .how do I set it for 750cc injectors ,how do I set it for my gm mas with translator . my wideband is down in the 10,s and car is ideling crappy . I know there is to much fuel ,how do I get it back at 14.8 on idle . very new to this thing and don,t want to blow up my motor . any help would be appreciated .:)

To set injectors:

Connect ECU.
Click on ECU > Fuel.
Look at table in this link and set global % and deadtime accordingly.

To set it up for MAFT:
In DSMlink go to ECU > Miscellaneous and click the Ignore IAT/BARO button. Make sure your MAFT is set up for 450cc injectors (Base 2 and Aux 0) and everything else zero'd out.

You shouldn't have to do anything to get it to idle around 14.7:1. It will still idle and cruise at 14.7, but the WOT will be pretty rich, since that's how it comes from the factory.

Do a search on here to find out how to get started tuning with DSMlink, as well as on the DSMlink forums. There is a sticky that Tom set up titled 'Getting started' you should look at.

I can,t get onto dsmlink forums because I don,t have a user name or password .the guy I got this from told me it worked and it didn,t because the ecu was fried ,but now it does since I replace the ecu . coming from ebay I gave him negative feedback ,because he ripped me of . I doubt if he is going to transfer his account over to me now .

is there a base setting programed in the dsm link .

Yes, there will be a base setting programmed into DSMlink. Connect to the ECU and open ECU > Fuel and just see what's in the global % and deadtime. Then try and match it to one of the injector sizes on the link I already posted or this one.

Send Tom at ECMtuning an e-mail with your name and the chip number and see if he can help you gain access to the forums.

:Dfollow up ,got car running good now with link ,had to do alot of trial and error but now its good on the 450cc injectors .now I am installing my fic 750cc injectors do I have to set my translator to those first . and I am sure I will have to set link up for those now .right . also on another note my ideling problems went away and so did the overheating issue I was having . best investiment ever .

great ,now I will have to make a dyno appointment and see if they can,t fine tune it . the dyno here is about $275.00 can per hour .so hopefully it doesn,t take to long .LOL

Why? My car was tuned on the street, that's the beauty of dsmlink.

Don't ever let someone else tune your car. It is way too easy to do it yourself, especially if you use my website. This is the only way you will be able to understand how the DSMlink system works. You need to learn it for yourself. If you really want some one on one help, then you can PM for more info.

I agree with Jeff. You can use the dyno, but I would do the tuning yourself. It is very easy to do, especially following Jeff's site. When I got started I use his site, the DSMlink wiki, and looked at other logs on the forums and people's suggestions on what to fix. All of that combined with playing around with it helped me learn.

You can post up logs and there are plenty of people here willing to help out.

installed my 750,s ,did some tuning and it is running pretty good now ,I have 20psi on it and my afr is around 11.6 at wot, that seems to be pretty good . my global and u.p , I set it to -40 and 330 but it was to rich ,so I now have it set to -45 and 50 u,p and it works there . the only issue now is sometimes when driving in 1st gear or 2nd ,come to a stop press in the clutch and it cut,s off .af goes to 18 when this happens .

ok got dsmlink setup .now my tps sensor is sending a cel when I put a check mark it in the dts setting .it bring,s on the check engine light also .when I uncheck it the check engine light goes off .does that mean the tps sensor is gone . another thing is now that dsmlink is hooked up and running my palm3c isn,t reading anymore ,is there a reason why this is happening .

LTFT and STFT deal with fuel trims. Read this page for more info on them:
fueltrimupdatepoints [ECMTuning - wiki]

GM MAF is a different airflow sensor than the stock MAS (attached to the air filter and intake pipe). It is usually placed in the upper intercooler pipe and requires a translator to convert the signal to something our ECU can understand. If you want more info on that, read this thread:
http://www.dsmtuners.com/forums/new...-maft-questions-merged-gm-maf-translator.html

I would also suggest reading through all the links in this thread. You need to have access to the DSMlink forums to view it, which shouldn't be a problem if you have a legit copy.
DSMLink User Group Forums

I would also read through a lot of the links in this page as well. The site owner is a member on here (JeffGST) and does a great job of explaining how to tune.

Dsmlink and a safc are two totally different things. A safc is a piggyback tuning device used to trick the ecu. Dsmlink is a total engine management system capable of fuel and timing control plus a bunch of other features. You do not need both.
