:hellyeah::hellyeah::hellyeah:

been making a lot of headway on the rebuild things are starting to come together nicely. i was going to do a wire tuck but decided not to, at this point in time i would much rather get the car running so i can concentrate on other things like bodywork, the back yard, and the 84 Harley (which incidentally happens to be in the backyard:p) that i need to try to get ruining before my father-in-law makes it up here for thanksgiving. i have the interior well on its way to being done as well. there has been quite a bit accomplished in the last few days... i just need to remember to pace myself and not get in a rush and everything will be fine.

i didn't get a lot of pictures of during the install but you basically get the idea of how it got done. the entire drive-train got installed in the car as a complete assembly. went surprisingly easy.. i will get some more pics when i have a chance to clean out the car.

and no, the valve cover has not yet been re-painted..

i wish i had the time and money, i would be having a lot more fun doing this... as or right now i think i am about $200 short of finishing up the drive train and can have it on the road... unfortunately i am about $500 - $700 short of bodywork to get it looking nice and fully painted.

You didn't put the accessory belts on first? You're either very brave, or have really small hands haha. Looks great, keep it up.

Lol fiero style! I did that with a fiero but i used a backhoe to lower the car onto the suspension! redneck fiero style! nice job!

yea normally i would have used an engine hoist to pick up the car and set it on the engine... that is what i normally do with the fiero but the hoist i was using is being used by someone else ATM.

are you talking about the black mat underneath all the crap on the firewall? that comes in all eclipses. most people pull them off when they get torn up and start looking like hell. mine just looked good enough to be put back on, didn’t really see a need to leave it off. doesn’t weigh enough to make a difference and it kind of covers my only real goof up on the firewall.
