DroidX Camera Holder

Well, one of the reasons I bought the DroidX was because of the HD video it took. Well to take advantage of it, I fabricated a holder for it so when I go down the track, autox, or just want to get footage, I can start the video and place it in the holder and go to town. It is not a perfect piece of art, but it was fabbed up for function over quality (until I can get more metal stock/gas for tig), but it will have to do for now.

so is that roll cages for looks? Might want to put some tape or something soft to keep the metal from scratching your droid

Nope, roll cage is legit. Droidx has a cover over it, so it will be fine.

I was referring to that one bar on your main hoop. The one right next to you mount. Its not welded to the hoop

That's really cool, i've been working on coming up wioth a mount to put a camera around the bottom rear area of my bike facing the front wheel/road for somegood action footage, but i didn't even think of using my droid.. i don't have the X but at least mine will shot 720p.. Great job on yours by the way and thanks for a littel inspiration!!!!!!!!!

Thanks, and I have not completed welding it yet. The top is welded, but ran out of time, and as stated, ran out of gas for the tig. Waiting to hit up Roberts Oxygen for some more.
