I was driving home today and relised i could here my turbo spooling up really well, when before i could bairly hear it. I thought nothing of it until i heard a clunk and boom open O2 housing. I got the car to a friends house anf checked it out and it looks like the bolts holding the O2 housing broke. I noticed a change in exhaust tone a few months back but thought nothing of it. Is it possible that one bolt broke off a long time ago and my DP was only being held on by 1 bolt. Also does anyone know what size bolts and gasket i should buy to put it back together. It is a PR type tubular SS O2 housing with a SS downpipe 2.5 to flex then 3in to muffler. Any help would be great.
