Hey guys, so I have been searching the forums for ever now and I can not find anyone who has the same problem I do. First of all, when I put my key in the drivers side door and turn it to unlock I have to keep it in the unlock position to open my door. If I take it out, it will lock again. Well today, I was running behind for school so I went out to get in my car and my key wouldn't unlock my door? I have power locks forget to mention that. Okay so then I tried to go to the passenger side to get it. I turned the key and struggled with it to get that one unlocked. So once i was in, i manually tried flipping the lock, it fought back! It kept locking!? So I tried using my buttons, Id hit unlock and it'd flip to unlocked then snap right back to locked! So I couldn't get in my car! Finally I ended up having to pull the manual lock back and open my drivers side door from my passenger seat.

Side note* Also whenever I take my key out of the ignition my car locks and there is nothing I can do to unlock it! What is going on here, someone please help me! I look like an idiot spending 20 minutes to get my door unlocked!

Usually when I used to run into theat issue, it was a sticking door lock actuator.
Either that or some other mechanical issue pulling the lock mechanism back to the lock position.

Pull fuse # 10 / a 10 amp fuse in the interior fuse block & unpower the power door lock circuit.
99% positive that fuse powers nothing else but power locks.
That should give you a little relief for now.

Yes, that would have been smart to do...now that i think of it :hmm: Buuut now when I push my unlock or lock buttons on either door nothing happens? There is a click from the console area where my radio is but the doors make no noise at all. I have manual locks at the moment now....without pulling any fuses...:toobad:
