Does it really mattr what boost you get. Right now i have one but it came with the car when i bought it. It dont light up also. So when buying a new one what should i look for.

its one that dont light up but i will try the place you told me thanks

As mentioned Autometer has been in the automotive gauge industry for years & are widely used & they have a large range of gauge style/choices. With that being said, I've yet to get an Autometer boost gauge that's read within .5 psi of the actual pressure. Out of the 3 I've tested, they were all 1-2 psi out when new & one had went even futher off with two summers use, around 4 psi. This is probably "the norm" throughout the industry with the cheeper automotive mechanical gauges. Normally if you step to a more expensive electronic gauge with a pressure sensor, you usually get better accuracy but you do pay a good amount more for this.

i need to know that thanks. O So i see must dsmer with three gauges. i know a boost is very important what about the other two.

You can usually fill it with oil pressure and water temperature if you want. Or voltage or EGT. If you have an auto trans, a tranny temp would be nice too.

These are all good choices & depending on how far your taking your car, fuel pressure & a wideband are good choices as well. Its basically all personal preference & alot of the time guys end up running 5 or more gauges by the time their done (as the factory ones don't really tell you much/are basically useless). Personally I have 6 ;) (though there are a couple I could probably do without). To me, I would say boost & oil pressure are defently most important.

Yes, it does!!!!

I had a brand new gauge/Autometer/ and was readind 22-23psi,but the car felt extremely fast, so I logged it and gues what: 28-30 psi, sometimes to 31psi. This is complete POS. After that I bought a Greddy electronic gauge with pressure sender and very happy with it. Reads exactly the same boost as my AEM map sensor.
