So the chiltons says to support the vehicle, remove fender liner, jack up the motor sightly to support it, unbolt the MM, remove the belts, then unfasten the retaining bolt. Use a jawed puller to remove pulley.

Ok so do you really need to undo the MM to get the HB/CP off? And do you need the jawed puller or can you just use the other puller that uses bolts to press it off?

Newb question: So when you're unfastening the HB/CP bolt counterclockwise, it wont f'up the timing ??? I thought the crank wasnt supposed to rotate that way?

To remove the crank pulley, take off the wheel, remove the splash shield(3 12 or 14mm bolts). Then remove the 4 little 10mm bolts holding it on. The big center crank bolt does not come out, but you can put an extension it the square hole and hold it with a socket wrench while removing the small bolts. That will stop it from rotating backwards.

You don't have to touch the motor mount. If anything, I would think raising the motor would make it harder to remove. It's unnecessary.

You don't need to remove the motor mount and you don't need a puller.

Just take off the belt and remove the four 12mm(IIRC) and it comes right off. You don't need to remove the center bolt/washer.

EDIT^^ beat me to it.
