Who sells the Fluidampr or ATI HB/CP for the cheapest price???

guess ill break down and try to buy the ATI or Fluidampr HB/CP since everyone seems to say dorman is garbage.
And it seems like the oem stuff doesnt last long.

Anyone know who sells them the cheapest?

hey man i think its extreme psi that has one Fluidampr at $291...and maperformance has one too they give great service jnz tuning has it at $289 check it out or heres by far the cheapest out there for mit oem Slowboy Racing :: Engine :: DSM Engine :: Pulley Kits :: 90-99 DSM Replacement Crank/Dampner Pulley this one is only $99 compared to the other ones

I too think the stock HB will last longer then you think. Mine lased me about 110,000 miles before i rebuilt my engine and i bought a new stock HB but truthfully stock is the way to go, but thats my .02 of course. ATI and fluidamper are all REALLY products though.

Support a sponsor, unless youve got a built engine or are really running high revs I dont see why you would want anything but stock. But if you do...maperformance treated me right and is a sponsor.

I got mine from Summit Racing for $291.95 plus shipping. I had a $20 coupon that I got from another purchase from them that I used on this order. So my total with shipping was about $283. But that's not all. Get this, Summit will give you a $30 cash back coupon with the purchase of the Fluidampr unit that you can use on another purchase. It took less than 2 weeks to receive the coupon in the mail. That's a total of $50 for me! I just looked on their site and the cash back coupon is still available.

I'm all for supporting our supporting vendors as much as I can, but I couldn't pass up a total of $50 in savings. I'm going to use the $30 discount I jsut got on a new fuel pressure or boost gauge. Sorry if I step on any vendor's toes with this post.

While I generally do agree with you about the longevity of the OEM units, I've read a number of posts about new OEM dampers failing within a few thousand miles of installation. However, my original stock unit lasted for about 150,000 miles before it started to separate and squeal badly. Go figure.

I called my local satan (dealer) and they wanted $170 for a new unit. Even for the low price, I did not want to buy the Dorman part, as there were too many instances of failure with that piece. With my $20 discount (cash back bonus) at Summit, the Fluidampr unit ended up to be only $100 more than OEM. For the piece of mind that it will almost certainly outlast my car and will never come apart, it was a no-brainer for me. Plus the extra $30 cash back coupon made it a deal I couldn't pass up. With that said, if I didn't have the $50 in discounts, I would probably have purchased a new OEM damper.
