Who sells the cheapest OEM parts?

This site may earn a commission from merchant affiliate links, including eBay, Amazon, and others.

Your car is a 99 and already needs to be restored? damn someone must have go with it in your car. Anyway you can try www.mitsubishigraveyard.com for some hard to find used parts. Your best bet is going to be going to salvage yards and finding different bits and pieces, you can also trying finding the pieces off of the classifieds here to piece together a new interior. Maybe I understood you wrong but what exactly are you wanting to do to the interior and we can lead you in a better direction.

I was about to say junk yard untill I noticed your a 99. Im surprised your interior needs restored. Theres a couple places that offer carbon fiber interior inserts. Search google on it. The OEM parts may be hard to find on a 99

Is there any difference in any of the 2g cars? Also, did the talon and eclipse variants share color options? If so, he could look at either model. Also, I've heard that Galants had the same interior, but I'd check that out.

Hey if you are needing a new dash as well don't forget that Dodge Avengers have our same dash as well. Most people forget that when search junkyards but they often come with the black interior that is so looked for lately

Yeah the door panels are broke I guess a fat man owned the car before me. But I want to replace the carpet with some black carpet anyone know where I can find that New. Also the inside it Tan and Black I would just like them brand new from some place there aren't really any junk yards around me.

Thanks
Brandon

By cheapest I mean most inexpensive.
Now that I have my 2g, I am swapping out the 7bolt for a 6 bolt but I want to put oem parts on it.
What I need right now is the t-belt and the oem parts for the bal shaft removal.
Any vendor recomendations would be greatly appreciated, Thanks

7 dollars for an Alt Belt..?!? I just paid 20 bucks for mine and its OEM...I hate California...

If you paid $20 for a Mitsubishi alternator belt for a 1998 GST, you got a good deal. I just paid $26.83 after a 30% DSM discount from Rockville Mitsubishi. The alternator belt that JNZ Tuning is selling for $7.90 is not the same part number as the one for our 1998 GST's. Maybe the alternator belts are different from the early 2G's and the later 2G's. Hope that makes you feel better.

http://mitsupartsdirect.com i've had really good luck with those guys and offer a dsm discount. Bought parts on a Friday afternoon around 2 and got them Tuesday morning at 9.

I second Rockville Mitsubishi. 30% DSM discount on tune-up parts, 25% on everything else. Nice rewards program too. I have not had to pay shipping in awhile. I also like the idea that, using part numbers I got from CAPS, I can sign in to my account online and search for price and availability of those parts.

From what I understand, list price on Mitsubishi parts is about 35% over cost. With your military discount, you got that belt for probably what it cost the dealer. Not a bad deal!

hmm, really never looked at it like that. I know i needed an alt bolt a couple of weeks ago and it came out to somethin like 12 bucks....F*CK that...played the same card and got it pretty much for half of that:sneaky:sometime whenever my car decides to operate correctly, i should just go driving around looking for places that i can get military discounts at, LOL...!

JNZ Tuning FTW. Best prices, customer service is excellent, fast shipping, great guys. I've probably ordered more than $1100 worth of stuff from them in the last 4 or 5 months, they will hook you up.

How about little OEM pieces that don't have names? Like the little plastic wheel in the window regulator that keeps the glass from rattling, or the plastic clip the holds the visor in, or the A/C line o-rings? Is there anywhere besides the dealer that sells these misc parts? The dealer markup is always incredible.

I've searched a few of these online part retailers, and they have all the big pieces but none have had the small ones. Maybe I need to find OEM part numbers and search by that?

Go here: http://www.dsmtuners.com/forums/showthread.php?t=226424 and see where to download the Mitsubishi CAPS program. Once you learn how to use the program, you will be able to find the part numbers for all those "little OEM pieces".

With the part numbers, you can get prices. Read through the posts in this thread again. Several good vendors, that give a DSM discount, have already been posted.
