If your car is ready for a 'brake' job. Then you should turn your rotors. It will not only save you the vibration factor, but it will also help to not wear your pads at an accelerated rate.
If you bought NEW rotors and NEW pads, then you should not have to turn the rotors before installing them.![]()
It is almost the same concept as putting in a new clutch on a used flywheel surface. It can be done, but it is not rcommended at all.

they do pulse a little if i break hard other then that they seem fine.Originally posted by BUCK
NO - only if they are "pulsing" then I change the Rotor instead of turning it down - Aftermerket Rotors are very inexpensive these days.

Afer aftermarkets worth it over OEM , i guess thats my question.
It's pretty simple and just takes a few seconds.
