when racing, after the launch (I slip from 3300 or so on decent tires), when you get up to your shift point, do you let off the gas or not?

Dont keep on the gas when shifting. Its not necessary, if your car is fast its just fast. And if its slow, not all the powershifting in the world is gonna help you.

maybe a 3 stage has your stock rev limiter, a launch limiter, and a shiting limiter. but i thought the launch and shifting were the same.
