different shifter mounts?

ok so i have a 91 turbo fwd talon and i just got a 92 talon turbo fwd transmission for it and i know the shifter mounts are different. can i just swap the mounts from the old tranny on to the new one? or what should i do

they should be the same. Are you sure its not a 90 transmission?
check the vin # on the trans.

no i have an early 91 and it has different linkage. is there any way to make them work or do i just have to get new linkage?
