I'm at the point in my build where its time to get a cage and i've got some questions for any experienced cage builders/people who have taken the time to actually study current rules. Can anyone clarify the differences in a cage built for nhra and one for time trials? The reason I am asking is because I intend to break into the 9's before moving on to road racing and i'd like to have a cage that can be modified rather than building a new cage once I get ready to move on to road racing. I'm going to have a local guy do all my bends and I will cut, notch, and weld everything out, but I'd like to have all my bent tubes be adaptable to both cage designs if possible. Thanks in advance.
