Try not to bash too much, 1st attempt was going too quick and lost my focus

It's hard to tell from a picture how much you took out, but if the area where the fire ring on the head gasket seals doesn't all come back to flat by milling the head then you'll have fo find a machine shop that can tig weld that area back up and then mill it. You were probably trying to unshroud the valves but on these engine there are much safer ways to gain power. You also appear to have ground all over the valve seats so those will all need to be lapped at a minimum but probably re-cut.

I don’t know why people mess with these heads so much. We went 7.80’s at 180mph with a bone stock 1g head casting and valves. Only upgrades were springs and cams.

From the head "markers" it looks like there is at least one cut left, maybe 2 on that head.
What the Hell happened to it to get all of those gouges on the flat areas???:ohdamn:
