Rod snapped in half, do y’all think this is something that can be bored out or am I looking at a new block?

That engine spun a rod bearing, which then caused the broken connecting rod. You might be able to save that block by having a cylinder sleeve installed in that cylinder, as blocks are getting more scare its worth the money to repair any that are repairable.

I thought our engines couldn’t be sleeved? If that’s the case then it’ll be no issue getting this block fixed right up
 
The 4g63 doesn't come sleeved from the factory, that is true, but almost all engines can have repair sleeves installed to recover from a damaged bore.
