Did I hook up my coolant lines right?

Yes and no. The bottom hose is kinked. Water can't get thru to cool the turbo.
+1 to that, just shorten the rubber line a bit and it'll work just fine... check for leaks after letting the car idle for a few minutes. i think that coolant flows at something like 16psi so if those clamps are NOT secured around the hardlines they'll drip.

Don't really matter as I know several people not even running the water line to the turbo.
i haven't ran coolant lines on my 16g for almost a year and turbo timed it, that thing still has no shaft play. might as well run them though since you've got them installed!

if your gana do something then do it right... no need to blame the car when something goes wrong just cause the owner lacks competence:nono: even if people are getting away with it.

Thanks for clearing this up. For some stupid reason, I though the water lines were there to help cool the bearings and the oil in the turbo. Now that I know several people don't run the lines, I will no longer waste my time connecting something that will prevent the oil from coking. Thanks for your wisdom!

dont know why you would let your turbo run without water. hell if your too lazy to do the water lines right then you shouldnt be able to run that turbo dsm right..seen some people on here doing that, but for so little hassle its worth having an extra failsafe
